2023 Scholarship Application

The Redding Fashion Alliance has created the Irene Acenas Youth Sewing Fund and the RFA Scholarship Fund to provide opportunities for education in sewing and fashion design.  Scholarships up to $100 (per student/per class) will be awarded to help cover the cost of sewing classes and all equipment is provided.  In most cases, scholarship recipients will be required to provide fabric and notions (thread, zippers, buttons, etc.) necessary for classes.  You must be a current resident of Northern California, with boundaries North of Sacramento to the Oregon border. You must also provide your own transportation to participate in onsite classes at Redding Fashion Alliance.
