Skills: 

  • Read and follow a pattern
  • Cut out and modify a pattern to fit
  • Use a variety of machine stitches to finish seams to add decorative elements
  • Design and create a decorative applique
  • Sew on and embellish an applique design to create 
  • Finish a hem and a cuff

Projects:  

  1. Chef’s Apron with pocket (optional applique) 
  2. Tote Bag


No sewing experience required. Fabric purchase by student. All sewing equipment is provided.
