Description:

"Cost: Free of charge - This course is sponsored by Shasta Community College


This is a 6 week, 12 session course with lab time that will take place at Redding Fashion Alliance, 1698 Market St. in downtown Redding. Students who complete and pass the course objectives will demonstrate competency in understanding and use of a variety of home and industrial sewing machines, and be able to follow written and pictorial directions to construct a garment. Students will receive a certificate of completion and will have the basic skills required to be employed in a textile based work setting.


All students will also be referred to the SMART Business Resource Center for additional job seeking skills."
