Session 2: The Body

Wednesdays, 6 - 8PM

April 8, 15, 22, 29

$135  Supply list will be provided.

This class will teach the fine art traditional tailoring. Student will learn to construct a muslin, floating front (front interfacing), shoulder pads, hand pad, stitched lapel, and collar, welted pocket and bound buttonholes.  

Prerequisite  

Cut, sewn, and fitted muslin

Cut wool front and mark at home


Session 2: 

Skills covered:

Cutting and constructing the floating front

Shoulder pads

Pad stitching

Lapel and under collar

Hair canvas

Pockets: patch, welted, double welted, flaps (with or without)

Students must have completed Session 1 (February)
