It features big roomy pockets, a front bib and an open back with cross straps. It can be made in cotton, linen, denim or canvas depending on your style.

Hand Embroidery Stitching and Embellishment w/Barbara Stone

Hand Embroidery is a great way to personalize a favorite garment, a tea towel, or a pillow case. In this workshop, we'll discuss different kinds of embroidery and the history but mostly we'll try out the basic stitches.
No experience or materials necessary, just show up and start stitching!
Fabric Painting w/Found Objects with Gini Holmes
When: April 17, 2021 from 11 AM - 3 PM
Learn how to print your own fabric designs with paint and found objects.
It's so much fun to just collect things with great textures and use them to create patterns. Potatoe mashers, sponges, toilet rolls, toothpicks, shoe bottoms... let your imagination run wild.
This workshop will show you how to:
- Create your own fabric paints for printing
- Use found objects for pattern printing
You will need 1 yard of cotton fabric (an old pillowcase works well) and found objects of your choice.

Fit That Dress! - Alterations with Barbara Stone
When: Saturday January 23, 2021 from 10-4
Do you have a problem dress? You know the one I mean: it's sitting in your closet or sewing room and you just know it's not quite right. Let Barbara Stone help you figure out the problem and fix it so you can wear it once and for all. We'll cover basic alterations such as lengths but also handling materials and general fit. For intermediate sewists only.
Create A Quilt with Karen
This is a great class to learn basic quilting patterns and techniques. You bring the fabrics of your choice and we provide the equipment. In this 2 day workshop you’ll make a sampler using Shaded Nine Patch and Flying Geese patterns, including quilting and binding and learn how to add squares to make a full sized quilt. Experience using a sewing machine is a prerequisite.
