The Redding Fashion Alliance
Kimberly Nicole Woods Boney Emerging Fashion Designer Fund 
supports new designers (2-4) each year with the funds, equipment access, and mentoring that aids them in launching a collection. 
Awardees receive $1000 to be used on the materials, equipment and/or supplies necessary to complete a small collection. Each awardee has full use of the RFA maker space for one year, as well as free access to all classes and workshops offered through RFA.  

Selected designers are expected to complete and show at least three looks in the Annual RFA Fashion Show Gala held during Redding Fashion Week every September. In addition, emerging designers are required to commit to attending at least three networking events throughout the year and to volunteer to support RFA activities.  Volunteering can include include assisting staff with a class, retail space, specific project, window display, and/or  RFA-sponsored event.

Entrants must be 16 years or older, and  be a current resident of Northern California, with boundaries North of Sacramento to the Oregon border.
