Upcycled Jeans Projects

Learn to make something new from old by up-cycling. Turn a pair of pants into a tote bag. Make a fabric planter for your favorite house plant. Then, pick from an assortment of fun small crafts.
- Skills Learned:
- Operate the sewing machine
- Understand sewing terms
- Follow sewing instructions to create projects
- Sew straight and curved seams;
- Hand sew a seam
- Cut out simple pattern
Machines, threads, tools, old jeans provided for first project. Students encouraged to bring old items from home for up-cycling. Supply list will be provided.
Minimum registration: 4
Knowledge of sewing machines required
Bring a snack and beverage recommended.
Afternoon Session: 1PM-4PM
Introduction to Sewing

Need the perfect everyday bag? A great Crossbody Bag is a must.
